A new blanket pattern inspired by the video game universe
I am particularly happy to present to you today this new crochet blanket pattern, designed for all pop culture and gaming enthusiasts. I wanted to capture the nostalgic and graphic spirit of arcade halls and consoles. The design features a detailed central game controller, surrounded by iconic symbols and small pixelated elements that evoke classic video game aesthetics. At the top, the bold “Game Over” inscription stands out, while at the bottom, the famous “Play Again?” prompt with “Yes” or “No” choices instantly invites you back into the game. It is a dynamic, structured design offering a great visual balance, perfect for lovers of retro graphics.

A retro, play-filled vibe in a two-tone design
This graphghan stands out with its striking two-tone aesthetic, designed in an elegant, modern duotone style. The contrast between the two shades highlights every single detail of the pattern from the controller buttons to the tiny symbols scattered along the borders. The overall feel of this piece is nostalgic, cozy, and unapologetically geeky, yet easy to style in a contemporary home thanks to its two-color balance. Worked entirely in single crochet using the tapestry crochet technique, this project requires a bit of consistency but is a joy to create row by row, as the design gradually unfolds beneath your hook to bring a magnificent, dense, textured throw blanket to life.
